The ceremony was held in Rawalpindi Corps to award officers and men, where 166 officers and men were awarded medal, Satara Imtiaz and Medal of Medal, while Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz awarded the awards.
According to the Pakistan Army Department of Public Relations (ISPR), a festive event was held to award 166 officers and men of Rawalpindi Corps in recognition of their outstanding services to their nation.
Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz was the guest of honor, who awarded the military officers and men with the honors of the Medal of Imtiaz (Military), Star Imtiaz (Military) and the Medal of Medal.
The President awarded 589 Military Awards to the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force.
According to the ISPR, 2 junior commissioned officers and 15 soldiers were awarded the medal, 47 officers were awarded the Star Imtiaz (Military) and 102 officers were awarded the Medal of Imtiaz (Military), while close relatives of the martyr received the honor of death.
The Corps Commander met the family of the martyrs and paid a special tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs.
