Goods Transporters, Water Tankers and Dumpers Association postponed Friday’s strike.
According to Dawn News, Goods Transporters and Dumper Truck Owners met with the FPCCI President, President Goods Transporters Alliance Nisar Jafri said that the two ports of Karachi were on Friday, including the entire city and across the country, on Friday.
Leader Goods Transporters Alliance Ghulam Yasin said that the government should immediately pay our burned tankers, the provincial government has also closed 180 vehicles in the name of a fitness certificate.
At the meeting, the leader of the Dumpers Association Yusuf Khan said that the garbage -raising trucks and dumpers in the city have not picked the garbage since morning, with garbage -raising dumpers and trucks standing in different areas of the city.
Yusuf Khan said that dumpers were burned and drivers were tortured, in these circumstances how to raise the garbage of the city.
According to President Transporters Alliance Nisar Jafri, 29 dumpers and water tankers have been burned in the city so far this year, the government should give 3 months time for the fitness of heavy vehicles.
Meanwhile, Acting President FPCCI Saqib Fayyaz said that the transporters have postponed the strike at our request, the strike of Goods and Dumpers Transporters hurts the country greatly.
He said that it is our endeavor to meet the Chief Minister Sindh, Governor Sindh and return the transporters’ cars and give appropriate time for fitness.
It is to be noted that after the accidents of dumpers, water tankers in the city, the measure of the citizens has been patience and even today, after the accident in North Karachi, angry people burned 5 dumpers and 4 water tankers and a truck.
Chief Minister Sindh has also set a random drug test for drivers after setting a speed limit for heavy transport vehicles after heavy traffic accidents.
Meanwhile, Sindh’s dynamic governor Kamran Tessori also announced a plot to rope the relatives of those crushed under dumper in Karachi.
