The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said two people were injured in a lightning strike in Bajaur yesterday. The incident took place when the shepherds were in the open area with their livestock.
According to the PDMA, about 50 cattle were also killed due to the loss of lightning, causing financial loss to the affected families. The injured were immediately shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Khar, where they are undergoing treatment.

On the other hand, the tremors of an earthquake in Lower Chitral have partially damaged a house and a school building. According to the PDMA, teams have been dispatched to the area to assess the losses after the earthquake.
Authorities say the situation is being monitored in the affected areas and steps are being taken to deal with any possible emergency.
