Leading Pakistani drama and filmmaker Khalil -ur -Rehman Qamar has expressed disappointment over the injustice done to Pakistan, saying that he is now ready to work in India too.

Talking in a podcast recently, Khalil -ur -Rehman Qamar spoke on various topics, including his controversial Honey Trap case. On this occasion, he expressed his deep sorrow and regret over the treatment in Pakistan.

He said that for years he adopted the principle of not working in India, rejected several offers, but now that time has passed. “I have done a lot for my homeland, but what happened to me has hurt my patriotism.”

Khalil -ur -Rehman Qamar revealed that in the past, Indian actors and people expressed their love and respect for them. “Some actors used to cry on the phone, while here their people’s attitude hurts me.”

He also mentioned the past copy by the Indian film industry. He claimed that the story of his 1999 famous play ‘Bota Faram Toba Tek Singh’ was partially stolen and made in 2000 Indian film ‘The Ganga’ in the country ‘, in which Govinda played the lead role.

He said that contrary to the importance given to Indian artists in Pakistan, Pakistani artists have to introduce themselves in India. ‘Our actors do not get honor, while Indian actors come here and become stars, and the media goes crazy.’

Khalil -ur -Rehman Qamar finally said that his attempt to kill the abuses, especially the Honey Trap case and his life, has forced him to decide that he is now ready to perform technical services in India.
