The inauguration of the National Anti -Polio Campaign was held in Islamabad under the commitment of complete eradication of polio from the country, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif attended the ceremony and officially launched a seven -day campaign by vaccinating the children.
The Prime Minister said that elimination of polio is essential for the safe future of children, the government is committed to completely eradicating polio from the country.

Addressing the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister said that we have to root out polio through coordinated strategies and joint efforts. Without the cooperation of the global partners, the complete elimination of this deadly virus would not be possible.

The anti -polio campaign will continue till April 27, the Prime Minister appealed to parents to cooperate fully with the polio workers to make the polio campaign a success.
