Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued an advertisement for the appointment of a permanent head coach of the national cricket team. The deadline for submitting applications for the post of head coach has been fixed May 4.
The PCB has released a detailed advertisement for the head coach on its website, explaining the required quality and experience. Earlier, Aqib Javed was appointed coach on interim basis, who was given additional responsibilities for the tour of New Zealand.
According to sources, Aqib Javed is no longer interested in taking over as head coach and is likely to be given the responsibility of director high performances. It is to be remembered that after Nadeem Khan’s resignation, the post is still vacant, for which the PCB has also issued a separate advertisement.
