PIA’s first flight to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, departed from Lahore, which was held at the International Departure Launch before departure.
Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore flight 159 flew to Baku, with 174 passengers aboard, in the first phase, 2 weekly flights are being operated between Lahore and Baku.
Before the departure of the flight, a special event was held at the International Departure Lounge of Lahore Airport, in which the cake was cut.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Ambassador Khazar Farhadio, Secretary Defense Major General Aamir Ashfaq Kayani, DG Pakistan Airport Authority Sameer Saeed and Airport Manager Lahore Nazir Khan attended the special.
Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Asif told the media that PTI hurt the PIA, it is hoped that flights to the UK have started soon, efforts are being made to restore PIA flights from other cities to Baku.
He said that the PIA was shocked in the PTI government, the doors for the national airline in the world were closing. After our government came, the PIA re -restoration started. It is hoped that flights to the UK will start soon.
The Defense Minister further said that PIA ships will also increase, new routes are also being introduced.
It should be noted that yesterday, a roadshow was organized by the national airlines to start flights to Baku, which was attended by all travel agents, tour operators and tourists.
The PIA administration says that the city of Asia, called Europe, is emerging as a major tourist destination in the world, because of the beautiful developed city of Baku, fame is delicious food, historical religious and cultural places.
