President calls Senate meeting on April 22 at 4 pm – Pakistan

President Asif Ali Zardari convened a meeting of the Senate under Article 54 of the Constitution, the Senate Secretariat issued a notification. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif directed ministers and advisers to attend parliament meetings.

The Senate meeting was convened on Tuesday, April 22, President Asif Zardari called for a Senate meeting under Article 54 of the Constitution.

The Senate meeting will be held at Parliament House at 4 pm on Tuesday, the Senate Secretariat issued a formal notification of the meeting.

Orders to attend the parliamentary session to the Prime Minister’s ministers and advisers

On the other hand, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has issued orders to the ministers and advisers. The Prime Minister has been asked to fulfill the government responsibilities in the chambers during the meetings, urging the Prime Minister to ensure attendance.

The Prime Minister directed that the MPs listen to the problems of the Parliament and a strategy should be devised to prevent the quorum from breaking up during the National Assembly session.
