The alleged microscope of 6 billion 23 crore in Punjab Health Department – Pakistan

The Punjab Health Department has lost a record of Rs 6 billion 23 crore. In the Public Accounts Committee, the Health Department itself acknowledged that they had no record of these expenditures.

According to the details, the money was spent during the PTI government during the financial year 2020-21, but despite the repeated efforts of the audit department, no record could be provided. Health officials told the committee, “We do not have a record, find out the C&W”.

Ali Haider Gilani, chairman of the Public Accounts Committee Two, has ordered an immediate investigation into the matter.

Further, it was revealed that ventilators provided by foreign friendly countries during Corona could not be used and was bad. The committee has directed the health department to immediately repair the bad ventilators so that the public can get timely medical facilities.
