A unique incident has occurred in the Indian city of Meerut, where a 45 -year -old widow was married instead of a bride of a young man named Mohammed Azim.
According to police, the incident took place on March 31 in Brahmapuri area of Meerut.
Mohammed Azim, who is a resident of Brahmapuri, said in his complaint that his marriage was scheduled for his brother Nadeem and his brother -in -law from Shamli resident.
During the marriage ceremony, Maulvi called the bride’s name “Tahira”, but Azim thought it was probably the bride’s name.
When the bride’s face was exposed after the marriage, she was surprised – the marriage was replaced by her mother Tahira, who is about 45 years old in the widow and age.
Azim has claimed that a wedding ceremony also took place at Rs 5 lakh.
When he protested the deception, his brother Nadeem and Bhabhi threatened to trap him in a false rap case.
Later, Azim filed a written complaint to the police on Thursday. However, according to CO Brahmapuri, Somia Astana, the matter has been settled between the parties and Azim has withdrawn its complaint.
The victim has made it clear that he no longer wants to take legal action.
